A garbage truck struck a Plus-15 in downtown Calgary, causing damage but few delays on Wednesday morning.
Police say the driver of the truck left its forks up and scraped the underside of a section of the pedestrian walkway on Sixth Avenue between First and Second Street S.W. at about 6:15 a.m.
The damage was not significant and the roadway remained open, but the Plus-15 was closed to foot traffic.
Police said at about 7:50 a.m., they were waiting for final approval from a city engineer before cleaning up the scene.
