Police continue to investigate a fatal motorcycle crash that occurred along Memorial Drive on Tuesday evening.
A 22-year-old driver of an Aprilia RSV4 bike was thrown more than 40 metres and hit the back of a Ford Escape SUV.
It happened around 8:30 p.m. MT in the 1000 block of Memorial Drive N.E.
Police believe excessive speed was a factor.
There have been three serious motorcycle crashes in Calgary this month, two of them fatal.
