3 flu-related deaths in Alberta since September
Three people who have died in Alberta hospitals since the beginning of September are confirmed to have had influenza. A total of 30 people have been hospitalized with confirmed influenza during the same period.

Three people who have died in Alberta hospitals since the beginning of September are confirmed to have had influenza, according to Alberta Health Services.
Two of the deceased who had influenza were from the Edmonton area. The third case was in the southern part of the province.
No other details about the victims have been released.

AHS says a total of 30 people have been hospitalized with confirmed influenza during the same period.
On Thursday, AHS also provided an update on the provincial immunization campaign, saying almost 400,000 Albertans have received the flu vaccine so far this year. The immunization is free to all Albertans aged six months and over.
