Teenager dead in Abbotsford shooting

An 18-year-old man has died in hospital following a shooting Friday afternoon in Abbotsford.
Abbotsford police Const. Ian Macdonald says police responded to a 911 call at 3:20 p.m. PT Friday near George Ferguson Way and Oriole Crescent.
When police arrived, Macdonald says they found a severely wounded man with a suspected gunshot wound to the chest near a crashed Chrysler 300.
The young man was taken to hospital but died shortly afterwards.
Macdonald says there have, as yet, been no arrests and suspects the shooting was targeted.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has taken over the case and is on scene.
