Police probe suspicious death in Prince George, B.C.

Police in Prince George are investigating a woman's death Saturday night, which they describe as sudden and suspicious.

Police say they were called to a home in the 1100 block of Alward Street and discovered a woman in medical distress, according to a statement from the RCMP.

She was taken to University Hospital of Northern B.C., but died. The RCMP's Serious Crime Section is investigating.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
