1 person killed, another injured in early morning stabbing in Surrey, B.C.: police

Police say a woman was killed and another person seriously injured in a stabbing at a home in Surrey's Guildford neighbourhood early Saturday.

Police say a woman was killed and another person seriously injured in a stabbing at a home in Surrey's Guildford neighbourhood early Saturday.

The Surrey Police Service says it received a call about a stabbing at a residence in the 14700-block of 108A Avenue around 3 a.m. PT.

Police say they found two people suffering from life-threatening injuries.

A woman died at the scene despite life-saving efforts, according to police, while another person was taken to hospital and remains in serious condition.


Police did not specify if anyone was arrested and said the Lower Mainland's Integrated Homicide Investigation Team is looking into the case.
