Snowmen brighten up Vancouver's snow day

As snow continues to fall over Metro Vancouver on Friday, residents are taking advantage of the rare white stuff.

Many enjoyed walks and bike rides in the snow, while others took to making snowmen. Here are some creations spotted across the region.

Environment Canada posted unofficial snowfall totals for parts of B.C. that were affected by heavy snow storms Friday just before 5:30 p.m. PT, with the Port Moody station registering the most new snow in the Lower Mainland region.
