Homicide team investigating shooting death in Langley, B.C.

RCMP say one man is dead in what police believe was an isolated incident that happened early Friday morning.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been called to Langley, B.C. after a fatal shooting early Friday morning.

Officers were called to the 7000 block of 202B Street just after midnight on Aug. 2 after reports of gunfire, Langley RCMP said in a statement.

Police say they were responding to the call when they received an additional report that two men with gunshot wounds had turned up at a local hospital.

One of them died from his injuries.

The Mounties are working with IHIT to investigate the shooting, which police say appears to be an isolated incident.
