68-year-old woman dies after collision in Surrey, B.C.

Police say around 10:30 a.m. PT Saturday the victim and a 73-year-old male passenger were travelling north on 184th Street in Surrey when they were struck by another vehicle travelling east on 40th Avenue.

A 68-year-old woman is dead after a collision Saturday between two vehicles in Surrey, B.C.

Police say the victim and a 73-year-old male passenger were travelling north on 184th Street in Surrey at about 10:30 a.m. PT when they were struck by another vehicle travelling east on 40th Avenue.

Police said a missed stop sign may have contributed to the collision.

A 37-year-old man was driving the other vehicle, police said in a statement. 

The two men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to authorities.
