Man fatally shot inside East Vancouver home, police say
Police say 49-year-old man died at home near Kootenay and Dundas streets early Sunday morning
UPDATE — May 5, 2025: Vancouver police announced 23-year-old Tyler Harrison has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of Benn Robert Arthur Harrison.
Tyler Harrison was arrested in Maple Ridge on April 29, according to police.

Vancouver police say a man was fatally shot inside a home early Sunday morning, in what is the city's second reported homicide of the year.
Police say they were called out to a house near the intersection of Kootenay and Dundas streets just before 4:30 a.m. PT on Sunday.
There, they say a 49-year-old man had been shot. He died at the scene.
Police say two suspects, both in their 20s, have been arrested in the case.
The VPD did not immediately identify them, nor say whether the homicide was targeted.
They're asking anyone with more information on the homicide to contact them.
The city's first reported homicide of the year was on March 22, at the waterfront CRAB Park.
