New Westminster police are out in the Glenbrook neighbourhood of the city warning trick-or-treaters that a cougar has been spotted in the area.
We are dealing with a reported cougar sighting in the 400 blk Glenbrook Drive. Keep pets inside and use caution if walking in the area.

Police say the area backs into a wooded ravine near Glenbrook Drive.
Multiple officers are warning people out for Halloween about the sighting. A conservation officer has also been called in to investigate.
New Westminster police are asking people to call if they see the animal and not to approach it.
