Join CBC at the Vancouver Queer Film Festival

CBC is proud to return as exclusive media partner of the Vancouver Queer Film Festival, September 11 to 22. 

Now in its 36th year, the Vancouver Queer Film Festival (VQFF) is offering audiences both in-person and province-wide digital programming from the very best in local and international queer cinema. Festival-goers can choose from 97 films from 25 countries along with in-person celebrations featuring local 2SLGBTQIA+ performing artists, filmmaker Q&As, workshops and more.

For the first time ever, the festival's dates will fall within the school year! VQFF is thrilled to introduce The Future is Queer: Youth Programs for two days of free programs to increase access to transformative 2SLGBTQIA+ stories and film screenings for school groups and youth under 25.
