One dead after train collides with car in Oxford County

One person died after a train collided with a car in Oxford County, provincial police said Friday evening.
The collision happened on Bayham Drive in Tillsonburg at approximately 12:22 p.m. on Friday.
The 56-year-old driver of the car involved in the collision was a resident of London, police said.
The driver was pronounced dead after being transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries,
Police said a road closure was in effect on Bayham Drive between Highway 3 and Pressey Road for several hours. As of 7:00 p.m., the road closure was still in effect.
