The 67th Grammy Awards, taking place on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, is the first major awards show in the city since it was hit with a series of devastating wildfires last month.
For a time, there were questions about whether the ceremony would proceed as scheduled. But considering the economic impact of such a production — Variety estimates(external link) that it could pump about $200 million US into the local economy — the decision was made to go on with the show and use it as a platform to raise funds for wildfire relief and industry professionals who have been affected by the disaster.
Hosted by Trevor Noah, the 2025 Grammy Awards will feature a tribute to music legend Quincy Jones and include performances by Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and many more.
As in previous years, the Grammys red carpet saw plenty of high-fashion moments and glamorous gowns. But a high number of attendees also opted for low-key, minimalist looks, while some stars (ahem, Beyoncé) skipped the carpet altogether.
Here are 12 of the top fashion looks from music's biggest night.

Sierra Ferrell

While there's bound to be a lot of online buzz about Jaden Smith's building-shaped hat(external link) (yes, you read that right!), one of the most dramatic looks of the evening might well be Grammy winner Sierra Ferrell's all-white, pearl-embellished outfit by Florida-based designer Jeffrey Kelly Abess.

Chappell Roan

Another can't-miss look comes from American singer-songwriter and best new artist nominee Chappell Roan, in vintage Jean Paul Gaultier couture — feathery headpiece included. From spring 2003, the colourful gown features a print adapted from a painting by Edgar Degas.

The record and album of the year nominee channelled vintage glamour in a very low back, feather-trimmed blue satin gown. The custom look by British designer Jonathan Anderson was styled by Carpenter's go-to Jared Ellner.

Abrams, nominated with Taylor Swift for her song Us, looked ethereal on the red carpet in a cream-coloured, off-the-shoulder dress by Chanel. The statement-making veil attaches to the dress, and the French fashion house's signature camellia flower is front and centre.

The Harlem Gospel Travelers

A co-ordinating group look is always a hit on the red carpet, and members of the Harlem Gospel Travelers — the first openly queer group to be nominated for a gospel Grammy — looked great in shades of bronze and brown.

Charli XCX

Not everyone can pull off Thom Browne on the red carpet, but the Tampa, Fla.-born rapper's floor-length pinstripe gown and dress shirt combo definitely works. The custom look, which features a subtle pannier skirt, is sharply tailored and corseted tightly in the back.

Cardi B
