Aaron is a former competitive figure skater from Toronto, Ontario, whose sharp wit and bold personality make him stand out in any crowd. Having performed on the ice for years, Aaron is no stranger to the spotlight — or the pressure that comes with it. You might recognize him from Season 2 of popular reality show, For the Love of DILFs.
With a knack for strategy and a love for stirring the pot, Aaron's approach to this competition allows him to combine his charm, social finesse and his relentless hunger to win.
What's driving you to take on Canada's Ultimate Challenge?
Being a former professional athlete, I wanted to challenge myself in a competitive environment and also showcase how strategy can help get you to the end.
What unique skills will set you apart from the competition?
Living life on the road travelling for seven years with 40 cast members. You won't like them all so you learn how to smile and avoid certain issues and deal with different dynamics. That is something that really sets me apart in the competition.
How did you gear up for Canada's Ultimate Challenge?
I play volleyball every week and all summer I was raving and could dance for 10 hours straight, so I guess that was my training.
What do you fear the most in the competition?
Being underestimated and not connecting with others. Also running, I don't enjoy running.
What's the toughest thing life has thrown you and how did it prepare you for this challenge?
My dad's health struggles with cancer when he had to get a stem cell transplant. Seeing him fight for his life every day has always inspired me to give it 100% and to always dig deep and try my hardest.
Who is your favourite player from past seasons?
If I have to pick someone, I did like Shasily and Brandon from Season 2 on the wild card team!
What's a random fact that people would be shocked to learn about you?
I was raised Christian and was supposed to be a pastor before coming out of the closet.
