Expect some unseasonably warm temperatures this weekend in Waterloo region.
Saturday is looking sunny but cooler, with a high of 3 C.
But then Environment Canada is predicting a high of 9 C on Sunday under sunny skies.
The warm weather is predicted to continue into Monday with a high of 10 C in Environment Canada's forecast.

Gas prices

Gas prices have fluctuated greatly over the last two weeks in Kitchener-Waterloo, according to Gasbuddy.com.
They settled between $1.03/L and $1.05L on Friday.

Things to do

Every week, CBC's Kate Bueckert compiles a list of family friendly events in the region.
This weekend, she's recommending Shiverfest in Kitchener, which will have light installations and lantern-making.
There's also a "repair café" in St. Jacob's, a KW Titans game in Kitchener and Paper Bag Princess Day in Guelph.
