A man killed at ferry terminal on Saturday morning not a Marine Atlantic worker

A man died at the Marine Atlantic ferry terminal in North Sydney, N.S., on Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called to the scene at 355 Purves Street at 10:43 a.m. The chief of the North Sydney Fire Department told CBC News on Sunday they were called in to respond to a man trapped under a commercial vehicle.
Few details have been released about the man who died.
Marine Atlantic spokesperson Darrell Mercer said Sunday morning the person who died was not a Marine Atlantic employee. He said he could not provide any other information about the incident.
Danny Cavanaugh, the president of the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour, tweeted a message of condolence to the man's family on Sunday.

Cape Breton Regional Police confirmed a fatality occurred Saturday at the ferry terminal.
They would not provide any other details, saying the incident is being investigated by the federal Labour Department.
