Officer received minor injuries, driver charged

A 25-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly hitting a Saskatoon Police Service bike unit officer with the side mirror of her truck.
Police say the officer was patrolling on a bicycle downtown on 22nd Street E. Friday morning when a truck tried to pass her from behind.
The officer was hit by the truck's side mirror, police said.
The 38-year-old officer was taken to hospital for received minor injuries.
The 25-year-old driver of the truck has been charged with driving without due care and attention.
