Calgary police seek man in connection with domestic assaults

Police in Calgary are asking for help from the public to locate a man wanted on 19 warrants in connection with a domestic assault investigation.
Austin McGlynn, 22, of Calgary faces charges of assault, choking with intent, break and enter, criminal harassment and eight counts of failing to comply with a court order, among other offences, police said in a release.
Anyone who has information about McGlynn's whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or to contact Crime Stoppers(external link).
He is white, five feet 10 inches tall with a slim build and has blue eyes and light-brown hair.
Because the investigation involves alleged domestic violence, police said no further information will be released to protect the victim's privacy.
"The Calgary Police Service encourages anyone experiencing abuse or violence in an intimate relationship to reach out for help before the abuse gets worse," police said in a release.
