Man killed, woman seriously injured in 3-vehicle crash on southern Alberta highway

Collision involved two pickup trucks and a semi on a rural route about 30 kilometres east of Pincher Creek
A 72-year-old man died after a three-vehicle collision near Pincher Creek on Thursday, according to the RCMP.
Police said the crash happened on Highway 507 near the intersection of Range Road 272 around 5 p.m. and involved two pickup trucks and a semi.
Both occupants of one of the pickup trucks — a 66-year-old woman, who was driving, and her 72-year-old passenger —were seriously injured.
The man died on the way to a nearby hospital.
The driver of the other pickup truck and the driver of the semi were not injured, police said.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
