Police arrested a 38-year-old man and he was charged with multiple counts of trafficking and possession of a controlled substance.
He was also charged with assault, forcible confinement and uttering threats.
"These drugs would have had a profound effect in the community of Melita and the surrounding Westman area if this substance had been able to hit the streets," RCMP Sgt. Ed Riglin said in a news release.
