2nd-degree murder charge laid in Regina home invasion death

Rodney James Nippi was assaulted with a weapon in his home May 14 and later died from his injuries

Regina police have laid a second-degree murder charge against a 25-year-old man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Christopher Sean Pascal, whose warrant was for breaching a long-term supervision order, will appear in court Friday morning.
He is charged in the death of 46-year-old Rodney James Nippi.
Earlier in the week, police were called to a home on the 1400 block of 12th Avenue.

Nippi was assaulted in his home with a weapon during a home invasion on May 14.
When police arrived, they found Nippi unresponsive.
He later died from his injuries.
