Police round up persons of interest in fatal Calgary shooting

Lengthy standoff in Taradale before several people taken into custody

Calgary police homicide unit says it has "multiple people" in custody in relation to a fatal shooting in the city's southeast.
Police found a man in his 20s dead in a Forest Lawn home around 4:50 a.m. on Friday.
Witnesses reported seeing several men running from the home and leaving in a four-door sedan, said police.
Last night, "persons of interest" were tracked to Taradale in the city's northeast. According to police there was a lengthy standoff before the unidentified people were taken into custody.
No charges have been laid at this time.
Police also said they are searching in the areas of Forest Lawn and Dover "for any evidence that may assist with the ongoing investigation."
