7 arrested in drug sting along river pathway near Bridgeland

21 tickets also handed out for bad behaviour

Seven people are facing a total of 25 charges following a two-month investigation targeting suspected drug dealing along the river pathway near Bridgeland in northeast Calgary.
Police seized 10.4 grams of crack cocaine, 11 fentanyl pills, 6.6 grams of marijuana and more than $6,000 in cash.
Seven men and women between the ages of 23 and 52 are facing a number of drug charges.
Officers also handed out 21 tickets for disorderly behaviour in the area.
The sting was launched in September and wrapped at the end of October, police said.
