Preliminary inquiry begins for alleged killer Anne Norris

Accused after Marcel Reardon found dead outside St. John's apartment building

The preliminary inquiry for accused murderer Anne Norris began Wednesday in provincial court in St. John's.
Norris, 28, is charged with the first-degree murder of Marcel Reardon, 46, in St. John's in May.
Judge David Orr will determine if there is enough evidence to send the case to trial in Supreme Court.

Reardon's battered body was found under steps at the back of the Harbour View Apartments off Brazil Street May 9.
The preliminary inquiry is slated to continue until Nov. 4.
