The body of Reardon, 46, was found outside a Brazil Street apartment building in St. John's May 9.
Camera footage from that night showed a man who was seen in the Adelaide Street and George Street area shortly before 1 a.m.
Police released the man's photo last week, in the hopes someone would come forward to identify him.
The RNC said it is believed the man could be a potential witness.
Anne Norris, 28, has been charged with first-degree murder in Reardon's death.
