Sioux Valley Dakota Nation man died after he was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries
A 24-year-old man from the Sioux Valley Dakota Nation who was shot while hunting last week has died of his injuries.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was shot while hunting in a wooded area in the Rural Municipality of Riverdale, Man., northwest of Brandon last Tuesday night.
The man died in hospital on Saturday, RCMP said.
The RCMP Major Crime Unit and Brandon RCMP continue to investigate.
The Rural Municipality of Riverdale is about 200 kilometres northwest of Winnipeg.
