A two-year-old boy is in hospital after being hit by a truck in the townsite of Redwood Meadows, Alta.
The driver of the pick-up truck was backing out of a driveway at about 9:20 a.m. Friday in the residential community near Bragg Creek.
The child was treated for a serious lower arm injury and other soft tissue injuries before STARS air ambulance flew him to the Alberta Children's Hospital in Calgary. He is in stable, non-life threatening condition.
RCMP are investigating.
