The super-popular phone game Pokemon Go is causing fender benders in Regina — and the police are not pleased.

Regina police took to Twitter on Wednesday, saying they have responded to a number of vehicle collisions involving the recently-released Nintendo game.

"Had my first Pokemon Go call for service," Const. Curtis Warnar said in a tweet. "One player was complaining about another player in a truck."

Similar problems have been noted in other Canadian communities.

No details about the Regina crashes were immediately available, but the tweets follow an earlier plea from the police for people to be careful as they travel around the city collecting Pikachu and other Pokemon characters.
