The 40-year-old man killed in a motorcycle crash in eastern P.E.I. over the weekend has been identified as Loyd James "Jamie" Pilon.
He died Sunday night when his motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve and left the road on Highway 2 near Morell. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Pilon leaves behind a wife and three children.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Dingwell Funeral Home in Souris.
His funeral is scheduled to be held on Thursday morning at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Souris.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Pilon Children's Education Fund.
The investigation into the cause of the single-vehicle crash continues.
