Lethbridge police say they are investigating the death of a nine-month-old baby after a Calgary autopsy determined it was a homicide, police said in a release Thursday.
Paramedics responded to the 600 block of 17th Street north on April 28 for reports of a baby in medical distress.
Austin Lucas Wright was in cardiac arrest and not breathing. He was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A Calgary medical examiner completed the autopsy. Police say Wright is the fourth homicide in Lethbridge this year.
