Andrew Michalski, the roommate of one of the two men accused of killing Hamilton resident Tim Bosma, is continuing his testimony and undergoing cross-examination Wednesday.
On Tuesday, he told the jury that just days before Bosma disappeared, Dellen Millard asked him if he should steal a truck from "the asshole or the nice guy."
Millard, 30, of Toronto, and Mark Smich, 28, of Oakville, Ont., have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the death of Bosma.
Bosma, who lived in the suburban Ancaster area of the Ontario city, vanished May 6, 2013, after taking two men on a test-drive in a pickup truck he was trying to sell.

Testimony resumed Tuesday afternoon after almost two days of legal arguments. The jury saw text messages between Millard and Michalski from the morning of May 7, 2013, in which Michalski told Millard that Smich's girlfriend, Marlena Meneses, had called him around 6 a.m. because she was worried and looking for Smich.
