Two vehicle crash in October killed 67-year old woman from Lady Fane
P.E.I. RCMP have laid a charge of dangerous driving causing death in connection with a crash last October that killed a 67-year-old woman from Lady Fane.
Gregory Stuart Collicutt, 25, of O'Leary is expected to appear in court in Summerside, P.E.I., on April 28.
The two vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 1A and Route 10 in Central Bedeque on Oct. 9, 2015.
"The vehicle with the male occupant went through the said intersection there and struck the vehicle with the female driver in it," said Sgt. Darrell Gill of the Prince District RCMP. "The charge is dangerous driving causing death."
Gill said even though a charge has been laid, the investigation continues.
Transportation officials announced in March that the intersection where the crash occurred is one of two in the area slated for changes to improve safety.
