Southeast Calgary home invasion by armed and masked group likely targeted, police believe

Resident suffers minor injuries after men, woman burst into home wearing disguises

Calgary police are investigating an armed home invasion by a group of masked people that took place this morning in the city's southeast.
Five to six individuals forced their way into a home at around 6 a.m. in the 1400 block of 43 Street S.E., armed with weapons — including a shotgun, according to police.
One person in the residence suffered minor injuries during the attack, but did not require medical attention.
The suspects included masked males, and one masked female, all believed to be between the ages of 18 to 25.
Investigators believe it was a targeted incident.
Police are seeking information from anyone who may have seen anything during this time, including descriptions of people or vehicles.
