Attempted abduction of child has police investigating

Suspect in Martindale incident fled on foot after brief struggle with child
Police are continuing to investigate an attempted abduction in northeast Calgary.
A child was grabbed by a man at about 3 p.m. on Monday in the 6600-block of Martindale Gate N.E., police say.

After a brief struggle, the man ran away. The child ran home and a family member called police.
The suspect is believed to be about 20 years old, from five feet eight inches to five feet 10 inches tall, with a slim build.
He was wearing a yellow shirt and a green hoodie.
