Suspicious death in Castleridge investigated by Calgary police homicide unit

Autopsy expected Tuesday
The homicide unit is investigating a suspicious death in Calgary's northeast after a woman in her 30s was discovered dead inside a home on Castledale Way.

Police are speaking with a man who discovered the body around 3:45 p.m., but no one is in custody.
Neighbour Marcy Monford says it's pretty quiet on her street.
"Surprised for sure," she said. "It doesn't happen too much in this neighbourhood, I mean there's definitely a police presence but not to this magnitude."
An autopsy is expected to take place on Tuesday.
