Jenny Lee-Gilmore is an actor, writer and filmmaker. She started her career as a producer’s and director’s assistant and has worked on productions for Netflix, Lionsgate, NBC and Disney. Her films have played across North America and she was nominated for the 2023 "One to Watch" award by the Vancouver Film Critics Circle. She’s an alumna of the University of British Columbia BFA Film Production Program, VIFF Catalyst mentorship program, GEMS TV Producer Lab and the Women In the Director's Chair Story & Leadership program.

Jenny Lee-Gilmore had trouble staying awake in school, vivid sleep hallucinations and would wake up six to 10 times per night. Seven years after she first went to the doctor about being tired all the time, she was diagnosed with Type 1 narcolepsy.
