The 2022 Scotiabank Giller Prize finalists will be embarking on a cross-country tour to discuss their shortlisted books.

The $100,000 prize is the biggest in Canadian literature. The winner will be announced on Nov. 7, 2022 at an awards ceremony in Toronto.

Artist, poet and performer Rupi Kaur and actor Sarah Gadon will co-host the broadcast. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBC TV, CBC GemCBC Listen and CBC Radio at 9 p.m. local time (11:30 AT/12 midnight NT) and will be streamed online at CBC BooksYouTube and Facebook at 9 p.m. ET.
