French Open: Canada's Felix Auger-Aliassime falls in boys final

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime was defeated in the French Open boys singles final on Sunday in Paris. The 15-year-old from Montreal lost 1-6, 6-3, 8-6 to unseeded Frenchman Geoffrey Blancaneaux at Roland Garros.

Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime was defeated in the French Open boys singles final on Sunday in Paris.

The 15-year-old from Montreal lost 1-6, 6-3, 8-6 to unseeded Frenchman Geoffrey Blancaneaux at Roland Garros.

It's the second straight win over a Canadian for Blancaneaux.

He defeated Denis Shapovalov of Richmond Hill, Ont., in the semifinals Saturday, ending the possibility of an all-Canadian final.

Auger-Aliassime beat Spain's Nicola Kuhn 6-4, 6-2 to advance.
