FIFA Women's World Cup: Kaylyn Kyle kicks 45-yard field goal
Women's team accepts kicking challenge from CFL players
Canadian soccer player Kaylyn Kyle showed a couple CFL players how it's done, kicking a 45-yard field goal straight through the uprights, after being challenged on Thursday over social media.
The Montreal Alouettes' Marc Olivier-Brouillette and the B.C. Lions' Adam Bighill challenged the Canadian Women's National team to kick a CFL football 35 yards for a field goal via a video shared over social media.
It didn't take long for the team to accept the challenge and for Kyle to post her own video showing her besting the 35-yard challenge with a clean 45-yard score.

More members of the team got into the action, posting a video of themselves kicking field goals minus the uprights, practicing tackling and issuing a challenge of their own.
Adriana Leon, Stephanie Labbe, Sophie Schmidt and Selenia Iacchelli asked CFL players to pass their own test by kicking a soccer ball from the 18-yard box off a goal crossbar.
Yesterday, we received a challenge from <a href="https://twitter.com/CFL">@CFL</a>... Today, we counter! Do YOU have what it takes?! <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/canWNT?src=hash">#canWNT</a> will show you <a href="https://t.co/4eDJmAFBWy">https://t.co/4eDJmAFBWy</a>

And in true sporting fashion, the CFL accepted the counter challenge with Bighill doing his best to show off his soccer skills.
Olivier-Brouillette made it happen on behalf of the CFL, hitting the crossbar after many others had their turn to try.
Who said we can't play footy! ⚽ We accept your "crossbar challenge" <a href="https://twitter.com/CanadaSoccerEN">@CanadaSoccerEN</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/canWNT?src=hash">#canWNT</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/CanadaRED?src=hash">#CanadaRED</a> <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/CFL?src=hash">#CFL</a> <a href="https://t.co/O33xMSWcTJ">https://t.co/O33xMSWcTJ</a>
