Anthony Novak scored against his former club to open the way for Calvary FC's 2-1 victory over Forge FC in CPL soccer action on Thursday.
The striker dribbled past one defender in his way to scoring in the 12th minute at the IG Field in Winnipeg. Ali Musse doubled the lead in the 33th minute after a link-up with Joseph Di Chiara.

Mo Babouli converted a penalty kick to get one back for Forge FC late in the game.
Cavalry FC (4-2-2) is now third in the standings with 14 points, having passed Forge FC (4-0-4), now fourth, with 12.
Calvary FC will face Pacific FC next at Starlight Stadium in Langford, B.C. on Friday, the same night Forge FC will play York United at the York Lions Stadium in North York, Ont.
