The Canadian women's team defeated France 17-10 in the bronze final on Sunday. However after a 34-7 loss to New Zealand in Saturday's semifinals, Canada will finish outside the top three in the overall Series standings for the first time ever.
Canada's men's squad defeated Ireland 19-5 in the Cup quarter-finals earlier on Sunday, but fell 26-12 to England in the semifinal. The men's team was thumped 38-5 by New Zealand in the bronze match on Sunday.
