An Argentine player was on the receiving end of a painful beach volleyball point Wednesday at the Pan Am Games.

During the second set of their preliminary-round match, a Cuban player spiked the ball into the face of Argentina's Georgina Klug, who was positioned near the back of the court.

The ball landed out of bounds after hitting Klug, who was unhurt, giving Cuba the point.

Argentina would go on to win the set before losing the match in three sets.
