Canada's short track couple St-Gelais, Hamelin win golds at World Cup
Samuel Girard, Charlie Cournoyer add silvers for Canada
Canada's short track speed skating super-couple, Marianne St-Gelais and Charles Hamelin, both won gold medals Sunday at the World Cup stop in Montreal.
St-Gelais, a three-time Olympic-medallist, won women's 500-metre final. The 25-year-old edged Poland's Natalia Maliszewska, who won the silver medal, while Russia's Sofia Prosvirnova captured the bronze.
St-Gelais won a silver medal in the 1,000m on Saturday, and another silver as a member of the women's 3,000 relay team on Sunday. Kim Boutin, Valerie Maltais, Kasandra Bradette, Audrey Phaneuf, and Jamie MacDonald were the other members of the team.
Hamelin won the men's 1,000 metres, with teammate Samuel Girard taking the silver. Russia's Semen Elistratov took home the bronze.

Canada's Charle Cournoyer won a silver medal in the men's edition of the 500.
Cournoyer won a bronze medal in the same discipline at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
China's Dajing Wu won the gold medal, while South Korea's Yeong Se Park won bronze.
