Playing through the pain
It's not the first time the Regina native has been injured in competition.
McMorris won Canada's first medal of the Sochi Games in 2014, a bronze in slopestyle, just two weeks after fracturing a rib at the X Games.
When he was initially injured, McMorrisĀ said at the time thatĀ he rode to the bottom on adrenaline.
"By the time I got to the hospital, I could barely get on the bed, or laugh or talk."
His treatment at the time wasĀ Tylenol and acupuncture.
