Canadian slopestylers make their mark under stormy conditions at Dew Tour
Team wraps up event in Colorado with pair of 3rd-place finishes
The Canadian slopestyle contingent made its mark under stormy conditions at the Dew Tour, which wrapped up in Breckenridge, Colo. on Sunday.
Veteran skiers Kaya Turski of Montreal and Quebec City's Alex Beaulieu-Marchand led the way in a reformatted contest that was decided over a two-day span and divided the traditional slopestyle course into both a rail final and jump final.

—@JeniverseAbrTurski managed a combined jump score of 69.66 and a jib score of 77.33 for a total of 146.99 to land her in third place.
''I came into this event with the intention of solidifying an X-Games spot and showing the judges that I'm still around, still lurking around and working hard. I think that this is really going to help my cause," said Turski.
On the men's side, Beaulieu-Marchand also earned a third-place finish as he combined a 66.99 in Friday's jump final and an 87.00 in the rail final for a total score of 153.99.
''We started with the jumps on Friday and it was pretty stormy. Despite challenging conditions, I'm still happy even though I didn't land my tricks perfectly, those things happen," said Beaulieu-Marchand.
"Being in 9th position after the jump final, I really didn't expect myself to land on the podium today,"
On Saturday, Regina's Mark McMorris won the snowboard slopestyle event for the fifth time and led a Canadian sweep of the podium.
