Ice dance world champions Gabriella Papadakis and Guillaume Cizeron have withdrawn from this season's Grand Prix events.
The French duo hoped to compete in this week's Trophée Eric Bompard in France and the NHK Trophy in Japan later this month, but it was decided that Papadakis wasn't ready as she continues her recovery from a concussion suffered in an August practice fall.
Papadakis and Cizeron, who live and train in Montreal, plan to make their season debut at the French national championships in December, and to defend their European title at the end of January.
In addition to their European and world titles last season, Papadakis and Cizeron won bronze at the Grand Prix Final.
