Canadian duo Lajoie, Lagha 3rd after rhythm dance at MK John Wilson Trophy
Toronto's Sadovsky drops from 1st to 6th in men's competition
Canadian ice dancers Marjorie Lajoie and Zachary Lagha are in third place after the rhythm dance at the MK John Wilson Trophy in Sheffield, England, the fourth stop of the 2022-23 Grand Prix of Figure Skating season.
The Quebec duo earned 81.09 points, while Italy's Charlene Guignard and Marco Fabbri are first with 86.30. Great Britain's Lilah Fear and Lewis Gibson sit second (85.37)
Alicia Fabbri and Paul Ayer are in eighth place (67.45), followed by fellow Canadian duo Haley Sales and Nikolas Wamsteeker in ninth (63.35).

Sadovsky drops to 6th
Toronto's Roman Sadovsky finished in sixth place after struggling through Saturday's men's free skate.
Sadovsky entered the free skate in first place after scoring 89.49 points in Friday's short program.
Italy's Daniel Grassl, second after the short program, topped the free skate and won the competition with 264.35 points.
Latvia's Deniss Vasiljevs (254.56) was second and Japan's Shun Sato (249.03) was third.
Toronto's Corey Circelli was 10th (182.81).

Americans Alexa Knierim and Brandon Frazier won pairs gold with 205.85 points, placing first in both the short program and free skate.
The duo is off to a strong start this season after winning Skate America last month for the second time in three years.
Italy's Sara Conti and Niccolo Macii won silver (184.19), while Germany's Letizia Roscher and Luis Schuster took bronze (167.37).

Mihara leads women's competition
Japan's Mai Mihara topped the women's short program with 72.23 points, finishing ahead of American Isabeau Levito (72.06) and Georgian Anastasiia Gubanova (66.82).
Gabrielle Daleman, the lone Canadian in the event, is eighth with 58.95 points.
