Barrie Ont., and social media are flooded with Canadian skaters competing at Skate Canada's 2015 Autumn Classic International.

From training to socializing and, of course, eating, check out what the Autumn Classic looks like off the ice.

Skaters started off the competition on Monday at Barrie's Allandale Recreation Centre — also known as Quadruple Country.

Competition started right away. Canada's Nam Nguyen had a candid reaction yesterday when he found out he was scheduled to compete immediately following 2014 Olympic champion Yuzuru Hanyu.

Hanyu is making noise this week, as the Autumn Classic is part of his comeback after a tough season.

Besides dealing with one another in competition, the Autumn Classic allows skaters from all over the world to catch up.

Pairs skaters Marissa Castelli and Canadian Mervin Tran snapchatted with teammate skater Sean Rabbitt.

Off the ice, there's one activity that always brings people together, competitors and teammates alike: food. Canadian pairs skater Rudi Swiegers seems to agree.Â
