Randall takes 2nd straight cross-country sprint
Canada's Harvey finishes 9th
Kikkan Randall of the United States won her second straight freestyle sprint in cross-country skiing's World Cup on Sunday, and Russian Alexey Petukhov won the men's race.
Randall got her fifth career World Cup victory by completing the 1.5-kilometre course in three minutes 2.4 seconds.
Natalia Matveeva of Russia trailed Randall by 1.7 seconds. Norway's Maiken Caspersen Falla was third.
Chandra Crawford, the Canadian 2006 Olympic cross-country gold medallist and native of Canmore, Alta., was ninth.
Randall, who won last weekend in Duesseldorf, Germany, climbed to third in the overall standings. Leader Marit Bjoergen of Norway placed seventh Sunday.
Petukhov timed 2:41.7 for his third individual win. Swedish racers Teodor Peterson and Emil Joensson took the other podium places.
Devon Kershaw of Sudbury, Ont., was fourth, 0.9 seconds back.
Overall leader Petter Northug of Norway was fifth.
Alex Harvey of Saint-Ferreol-les-Neiges, Que., was ninth.
